New Delhi, Easter Sunday 8 April 2007:  Dalit Christians Organisation ‘Poor Christian Liberation Movement’ (PCLM) damands compensation from the Indian Church authority / leaders on, Easter Sunday, 8 April 2007. The movement puts on allegation on the structure of the church which alloeus casteism, fortiality and esefloitation, and the leaders/ authority of the church has foiled to eradieate these social evels from the church. Seventy percentage (70%) of Dalit Christians are suffering of these social evels and being exploited in the Indian Church.

National President of Poor Christian Liberation Movement, Mr. R.L.Francis has declared that the working structure of the church is against the Dalit Christians. He said that today also the door of the Indian church organisation is closed for the Dalit Christians. Seventy percentage (70%) of the total Christian population of around thirty million Dalit Christians are deprived of basic necessities and are totally living on the mercy of the society for their daily lives. Church authority is not even bothered about the development of these people. Church is using their religious beliefs for their own selfishness. Mr. R.L.Francis said that condition of the Dalit Christians is not different even after changing the religion. The condition remains the same. Dalit Christians are now the victim of the church and being exploited by the church.

Mr. R.L.Francis, the President of PCLM said that since the last decade the Dalit Christians are asking from the church authority for the participation and equal rights in the church structure, but instead of axepting as part of the church, authorities are demanding the reservation / quota for Dalit Christians to the government. Since the last six decades Dalit Christians have left the facilities of Scheduled Caste/ quota in search of self respect and they have hold the hands of the church. Today after six decades of Independence by asking the reservation for Dalit Christians, church authorities are fooling the Dalit Christians, Hindu Dalit, Soceity and even the government. Movement had blamed the church authorities for neglecting the texhings of Jesus Christ and spreading the casteism in the name of Christianity. Mr. R.L.Francis had demanded the compensation for Dalit Christians from the church so that they can have equal place and respect in the society and church.
